Creating an account
Registering for AppSync takes about a minute.
What you need
- A username — this is how you'll be identified on AppSync. Letters, numbers, dots, dashes and underscores are allowed. Pick something memorable; you can't change it later without help from an admin.
- A working email address — we use it to confirm you own it and to send password-reset links.
- A password — at least 10 characters. Use a unique one (a password manager makes this painless).
Steps
- Go to the login page and click Create Account.
- Fill in the form: username, email, password.
- Click Create Account.
- Open your inbox and look for an email from AppSync. Click the Confirm email link inside.
- Once confirmed, sign in with your username and password.
Until you confirm your email, you can't sign in.
"I didn't get the confirmation email"
- Check your spam / junk folder.
- Make sure you typed the address correctly.
- Use the Resend confirmation email link below the login form to send it again.
What you'll see after registering
A friendly empty dashboard. Apps that are public show up immediately. Restricted apps need a request first — see the Dashboard help page.
After you sign in
- Set up Two-factor authentication for extra security — strongly recommended.
- Visit your Profile to change your password whenever you like.
